FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS


1. Where do I get my lock for my unit? You provide your own lock. We do recommend the short shaft pad locks, the longer ones do not work. 


2. Are there any extra fees? Aside from your monthly storage unit rent there is a $4.00 credit card processing fee that is posted to your account.  If you wish to avoid this charge you may pay via check or cash at our office in our drop box at 2920 St Rt 3 Fulton NY 13069. Once your check/cash payment is received the charge will be removed from your account. 


3. Do I need to make an appointment to move in? No, once you register for your account, select your unit and pay you are all set to move in.  We will reach out if we have any questions.

 
4. Do you prorate move out? No, the full month rent will be charged automatically on the 1st of each month. The only pro rate rent we do is at move in.


5. How long will it take to get my security deposit back once I move out? We aim to have your security deposit returned to the original form of payment within 10 business days.  You will get a text from us when we initiate the transfer. 


6. What can I store in my unit? You are welcome to store anything you wish as long as it is not a living thing. If you are looking to store an item with a battery or gasoline, the battery needs to be disconnected from the device and no gasoline storage allowed, all tanks must be drained before storage. 


7. Can I live in my unit? No the storage unit is not habitable and will be grounds for immediate eviction proceedings.
